As interim Executive Director of the New York Care Coordination Program (NYCCP), a not-for-profit organization, Maryjoan Case is responsible for overseeing a complex set of programmatic, clinical, regulatory, fiscal, and technical initiatives designed to improve outcomes for individuals with serious behavioral and chronic health conditions.  She also provides leadership to Health Homes of Upstate New York, a consortium of five Health Homes serving adults and children across upper New York State. 

Maryjoan has over 30 years of experience with non-profit organizations in the areas of Operational Oversight, Quality Improvement, Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance.

Sixteen of those years have been with a focus in Healthcare Compliance. Maryjoan holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Healthcare Corporate Compliance Graduate Certificate from George Washington University, is Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) and is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.

For the last two and a half years, Maryjoan has been in the role of Compliance and Privacy Officer for New York Care Coordination Program/Health Homes of Upstate New York (NYCCP/HHUNY) and for Coordinated Care Services, Inc (CCSI) where she has been responsible for oversight and management of the compliance and privacy programs for both organizations.

Prior to joining NYCCP/HHUNY and CCSI, Maryjoan owned her own consulting business and contracted with non-profit organizations in central New York and New York City where she worked with agencies on the creation and implementation of effective leadership initiatives, development and enhancement of compliance and risk management programs; quality improvement initiatives; accreditation standards; policy and procedure development/implementation and workforce training.
