Dr. O’Connor recently joined the CCSI team to help develop and expand services for child-serving organizations and to contribute to the growing research and development initiatives of the Center for Collaboration in Community Health.   Previously, Dr. O’Connor’s experience has centered on improving the quality of care for children and adolescents with various mental health disorders. Dr. O’Connor received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University at Buffalo, where her focus was on enhancing the effectiveness of behavioral interventions for children and families and disseminating Evidence-Based Practices into school and community settings.  She completed her pre-doctoral training at the Center for ADHD at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York State.  Through her post-doctoral fellowship in The Center for Implementation-Dissemination of Evidence-Based Practices (IDEAS Center) in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department of NYU, her work focused on developing behavioral health care quality indicators in primary care settings and measuring access to mental health care for youth.
