At CCSI, we believe that when human-centered organizations rise, communities soar. That’s why we collaborate with non-profits to drive meaningful change through rigorous research and thoughtful evaluation

The Challenge

A human services non-profit came to CCSI facing a critical challenge: its Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) department was struggling. Deadlines were being missed. Communication had broken down. Team members felt frustrated and unheard. Inequities in policies and practices created confusion and resentment. Even more, many staff didn’t understand the department’s work or its value.

Our Partnership

We listened deeply. Together, we mapped out the root causes and co-designed a path forward. Our team:

  • Created a clear process map to distill complex information into accessible training and accountability tools.
  • Delivered targeted training and data solutions to streamline workflows and foster open communication.
  • Led an in-depth study—using focus groups, interviews, and surveys—to ensure every voice was heard and every perspective valued.

The Results

The impact was immediate and energizing. The organization:

  • Implemented new policies, training, and equipment to support staff right away.
  • Launched a 35-step action plan, turning insights into measurable momentum.

By working together, we didn’t just solve a problem—we built a foundation for lasting equity, collaboration, and growth.
