Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the clinical supervision of the OTR/L, follow the treatment plan for assigned individuals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 Implement and/or train staff to implement group and individual activities that reinforce OT services, and/or provide opportunities to directly implement them, as directed by OTR/L
 Attend appropriate meetings for individuals as requested by the OTR/L or Clinic Director
 Complete documentation associated with treatment plan.
 Serve as a liaison between the OTR/L and other agency staff to ensure integration of services.
 Ensure that a supply of OT and adaptive equipment items regularly used is available.
 Assists or support the OTR/L in minor repair/modification of adaptive equipment
 Attend in service and conference training as assigned or required to maintain Certification
 Other duties as assigned by the OTR/L or Clinic Director.
