Seeking a part-time trainer with a flexible schedule to join Community Health Strategies, www.communityhealthstrategies.com, an injury prevention education, research and training organization that is dedicated to the prevention of unintentional injury in people with disabilities, children and older adults.
Position Requirements:
• Training experience
• Excellent presentation and group facilitation skills
• Excellent public relations, telephone and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Desired Skills:
• Experience in fire safety and/or injury prevention
• Spanish fluency
Hourly Wage: $20 per hour; 5-10 hours per week; hours based on training needs.
This position requires an ability to conduct training for a variety of audiences, but primarily for people with intellectual disabilities. Candidate must be able to both work from structured training programs and develop new programs and materials. This position requires enthusiasm, flexibility and teamwork.
