Job Coach

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide support and oversight for individuals participating in the Vocational Program including job coaching, skills training, assessment, counseling, intervention, and advocacy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 Serves as a positive role model to participant(s), modeling appropriate work skills, behavior and social interaction.
 Utilizes a variety of job coaching techniques to meet participants’ needs and maximize successful vocational placement. To include; identification and analysis of work to be performed, aiding the participants in mastering job duties, ensuring that work performed by the participants meet vocational placement expectations, documentation of progress.
 Uses a team approach to share information on the participants’ progress or other relevant information with the participant, family, advocate and other support members.
 Provides consistent feedback on job performance through continual assessment and oversight.
 Provide supervision of program participant(s) at work sites based on individual needs.
 Responsible for documentation of services provided.
