Description
Westfall Associates is an NYS OASAS licensed outpatient treatment program in Rochester specializing in meeting the needs of those who struggle with alcohol and other substance use and who may have co-occurring mental health disorders.
Duties: We are seeking a primary therapist who will walk with their patients starting with the evaluation period through successful completion of their personalized recovery plan.
- Assess individual and family needs in the areas of substance use and mental health.
- Manage a caseload of individuals.
- Provide individual, group, and family care.
- Facilitate online and in person groups.
- Participate in our multi-disciplinary team meetings and supervision.
- Document services in Westfall’s electronic medical record.
- Other duties as assigned.
Employment type- Full time. Two evening groups are required. The services are both in person and via telemedicine.
Benefits- A contribution toward health insurance, individual and group supervision with a multi-disciplinary team. Paid leave time includes selected Holidays and vacation time, 401K participation with employer contribution after 6 months
Requirements
Candidate characteristics- Must be a Qualified Healthcare Professional per NYS OASAS standards. A minimum of 1-2 years in either the CD or MH fields is desirable. The best candidate will have a passion for individual and group work and be able to manage their own schedules and workload. Westfall staff are multi-disciplined and work as a team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about individual, group, and family systems, and experienced in both substance use disorders and mental health.
Background Requirements- Employees must undergo review of Office of Children and Family Services data base, Staff Exclusion List maintained by the NYS Justice Center, and a Criminal Background Check.
Salary $45,000- $65,000 based on experience.
