Recruitment & Enrollment Specialist

The Recruitment & Enrollment Specialist plays a critical role in advancing the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of
Greater Rochester (BBBSR) by executing the organization’s Strategic Recruitment Plan. This position is responsible for
coordinated recruitment, onboarding, screening, and enrollment of volunteer mentors (Bigs), youth participants
(Littles), non-mentoring volunteers, and BBBS alumni across BBBSR’s four-county service area. The role manages the
full front-end engagement lifecycle—from outreach and inquiry through enrollment or onboarding—ensuring child
safety, equity-centered practice, accurate data management, and audit-ready documentation, while building
sustainable recruitment pipelines that support mentoring matches, events, program delivery, and long-term organizational engagement.
